Asiatic Society of Japan - Membership Application, Annual Membership Dues

Annual Membership Dues:

(Initial enrollment fee - 1,000 yen or US$10)
Regular individual member - 10,000 yen (or US$100)
Member's spouse - 5,000 yen (or US$50)
Sustaining member - 15,000 yen or more (or US$150 or more)
Student member - 5,000 yen (or US$100)
Institutional member - 20,000 yen (or US$200)

Payment may be made at any of the lecture meetings.

Postal Yen Transfer:
Residents of Japan may transfer dues to the Society's post office account No. 00120-0-167991, payable to the Asiatic Society of Japan.

Bank Transfer (payable to the Asiatic Society of Japan):

Akasaka Branch, Tokyo
Ordinary Account No. 1048353

Overseas residents may pay by mailing a check for US$100 (payable in the US) to the Society's office. For those without dollar accounts, it is also possible in many cases to make an international postal transfer to our Japanese Post Office account No. 00120-0-167991; in this case please remit the sum of 10,000 yen making sure that the transfer charges (which are less than those charged by banks) are paid by yourself. This can be done via any post office in Europe, and in many other countries also. Other foreign currencies are unfortunately not acceptable.
