About the Asiatic Society of Japan

The Society publishes a monthly bulletin summarizing the previous month's lecture, introducing the coming month's lecture, and giving member-related announcements. Also published is "The Transactions of the Asiatic Society of Japan" which contains summaries or full papers of each year's lectures. The Society's Library is now housed, for the moment at least, in Prof. Robert Morton's office in Chuo University at Hachioji. Those wishing to consult the library should contact him at his home by tel/fax at (03) 3325-9828, or by e-mail at <robertmorton1@yahoo.co.uk>.

ASJ is currently searching for a new regular site, so please note carefully each month's announced lecture site.
