Chiossone stamps

[four commemorative Chiossone stamps]

A set of four 80 yen stamps commemorating Edoardo Chiossone was issued on Nov. 18,1994, as part of a series showing the history of Japanese stamps. The stamps were printed in sheets of 16. Though the deadline for ordering these stamps has passed, future Japanese commemorative stamps may be ordered in advance by the sheet by submitting a "kitte chuumon-yoh yuubin furikae yohshi" (special order form for advance payment of commemorative postal stamps), at any Japanese post office.
