What a sad but happy day! Sad because the group had to part from their host
families and Salem, but happy because we had had such wonderful experiences
in Salem and Oregon. We were seen off not only by all the host families,
but also by Alyce and Henry Yoshikai (Mrs. Yoshikai is President of Salem-Kawagoe
Sister Cities, Inc.).
Our thanks to the many people in Salem who made our stay so memorable.
