We began our Central Oregon trip by crossing over the Cascade Range. It was snowing as we crossed over the Santiam Pass, elevation almost 5000 feet, but the road was clear.

At our destination, Sunriver, it began snowing soon after we arrived. How surprising after having enjoyed cherry blossoms in Salem. Here are some of us surrounded by snow and beautiful pine trees:
