We were privileged to visit Salem's Mayor Roger Gertenrich at the City Hall
today. In this photo he is showing a picture of his extended family, and
telling how important family is him.
The Salem Hospital was also a fascinating place to visit to learn about
this area's medical facilities.
One of our host mothers, Maggie Johnson, dressed in a 19th century pioneer
costume to guide us about Mission Mill Village.
