The Kawagoe group arrived safely in Oregon from Japan.
On the way to meet host families in Salem, the group enjoyed cherry blossoms
by the Oregon State Capitol.
The group was warmly met by the host families at Salem's First United Methodist
Church.
We were warmly greeted by Alyce Yoshikai, President of Salem-Kawagoe Sister
Cities, Inc., and Ralph Jackson, Vice President.
